This is my LA SANTA DE MUETRE tattoo. She’s my protector and healing figure. I got this tattoo to remind me that it takes time to heal and to never give up. It was hard dealing being alone with no one. No one to hug, kiss and say i love you to. I know i have a lot of love to give and that tattoo reminds me of that. After overdosing three times and being admitted to the state hospital for 2 months there had to be a reason why I didnt die. I questioned that reason the whole time i was in the ward. All i knew was that i was living because of “something”. That something i didnt know yet.
Now 8 months later, I am in a wonderful relationship with a man i love. Every night i thank her for protecting me from not doing any harm to myself. If i did die those 3 times, i wouldnt have been the better, loving person i am today.
